I can't see the text clearly after highlighting the dark theme page

Take the Steam page on Chrome on a PC as an example. Since the Steam page has a dark theme (white text on dark background), after I used the Cubox plug-in to highlight text in a Steam guide, the readability of the highlighted text became very poor due to color comparison issues. I tried every highlight color, and there was no improvement.
Suggestions:
Simple version: The Cubox plug-in provides a color label that is more readable on dark-themed web pages;
Advanced version: Can Chrome's Cubox plugin automatically recognize if the website has a dark theme and then automatically change the highlighted text color to black? This eliminates the need to change the undertone of the highlights, but it also solves readability issues.
Note: There is no such problem on the Cubox side. After all, Cubox is black on white background.
